Supporter Spotlight: Renasant Bank

SUPPORTER SPOTLIGHT – An interview with Diane LeBlanc, Senior Managing Director, SVP with Renasant Bank

How did you first get involved in with the Mission?

I first got involved with the Mission as their banker with Renasant Bank. After that, I started volunteering. Then I invited co-workers to volunteer with me. Then family. We’ve continued to look for additional ways to further our support through the bank and individually with groups of volunteers.

What prompted Renasant Bank’s first gift to Nashville Rescue Mission?

We quickly saw the incredible work being done by so many at the Mission. I wholeheartedly believe and have personally witnessed lives being transformed through the love and hope they show to guests.

What do you think is the most important thing Nashville Rescue Mission does?

The Mission is doing so many good and important things for our community. We know they provide thousands of meals each week, provide a clean bed and clothing to those in need. Probably the single most important thing they do is invite guests to establish a new relationship with God. It’s what encourages those who walk through the doors to find confidence and hope that their future can be different than their past.

What do you think people need to know about giving to Nashville Rescue Mission?

I would encourage everyone to come and take a tour of the Mission. It will give you a first-hand look at the needs that exist and allow you to see how you can put your time and talents to work in helping meet those needs.

What would you tell someone who is thinking about donating, volunteering, etc. to Nashville Rescue Mission?

With these uncertain times for everyone, there is no better time than now to give to Nashville Rescue Mission. They are seeing increasing numbers of men, women, and children who need our help. You can be confident your donation and your time volunteering will provide hope to someone who needs it. You can also count on the Mission to be a good steward of your gift.
