Supporter Spotlight: Allstar Fire Protection

An interview with Casey Milhorn, CEO of Allstar Fire Protection, Inc.

How did Allstar Fire Protection first get involved in with Nashville Rescue Mission?

Allstar Fire Protection, Inc. has been involved with the Mission since the company opened in 1990. Glenn Harris, one of Allstar’s founders, has been a long-time supporter. He’s served on the Mission s board, supported the organization financially, and champions the organization’s cause any chance he gets.

The most important thing the Mission does is save souls by doing God’s work.

What do you think is the most important thing Nashville Rescue Mission does?

The most important thing the Mission does is save souls by doing God’s work. They take care of the physical and emotional needs of guests here on earth. Through feeding, housing, and clothing those in need, the Mission creates an opportunity for God to do his work in and through them.

What do you wish other people knew about Nashville Rescue Mission?

With Allstar I have been able to work alongside some of the Mission graduates and see the real-life change happen. I wish more people could see this for themselves. Faith-based recovery has an undeniably higher success rate than traditional programs.

What do you think people need to know about supporting the Mission?

When you give to Nashville Rescue Mission, you are actually giving back to the community in many other ways. The Mission sets off a chain reaction with each life they touch, and it goes well beyond their walls. Graduates go on to be independent. They live and thrive and make a positive impact in their community.
