SUPPORTER SPOTLIGHT

Nashville Rescue Mission’s nearly 70 years of service to those experiencing hunger, homelessness, and hurt couldn’t happen without the heart of friends like you—and Kurt Schusterman, Owner and CEO of California Closets, who shares his passion for this ministry . . .

“Prior to California Closets, I heard about the great work of Nashville Rescue Mission and toured the facility to learn more. Then, after buying the business, the Mission became one of my target community development programs to support because I trust and believe in their purpose.

I’m also an advertiser on SuperTalk 99.7 WTN, so when Nashville’s Morning News’ Dan Mandis contacted me to be a part of their annual event, I jumped at the opportunity.

One of the most important things Nashville Rescue Mission does for the community is responsibly helping the underserved by focusing on a Christ-centered mission of serving “the least of these” (Matthew 25:40 NIV).

The Mission serves in a way that reflects the same Christ-centered values and belief system we embrace with our company. And it’s not just for men down on their luck. They care for women and children too, and there’s an entirely separate facility [nearing completion] just for them.

Nashville Rescue Mission not only gives those in need a warm bed and meal for the night, but also provides programs that enable them to get back on their feet for long-term and sustained recovery.”

We love supporting the Mission, and they are always so grateful and kind to receive it!

Your own gift will make a difference in the spiritual well-being of those served. Nashville Rescue Mission’s hands are not tied by red tape, nor are they bound to abide by fleeting government policies. Instead, it lives by the enduring values Christ taught us to live by.
