How and when did Allstate first get involved with Nashville Rescue Mission?

Our regional office started volunteering with the Mission back in 2017 during our annual month of service. Every April, Allstaters across the country come together to give back to their local communities. Our employees chose Nashville Rescue Mission as an organization that we wanted to give our time, money and support to as a means of strengthening our community.

Is there a specific aspect of the Mission’s work that attracted your support?

I personally support Nashville Rescue Mission because of the incredible work the organization does to help the homeless in the community, as well as the amazing Life Recovery Program which helps men and women get back on their feet.

What led to the decision to support the Mission financially?

Our employees believe in the work that the Mission does to help the homeless and those on the road to recovery. Through the Allstate Foundation’s Helping Hands program, our employees have been able to give $500 Helping Hands grants after volunteering for 16 hours with the organization. We’re fortunate to work for a company that supports the causes our employees are passionate about, and proud to have given several thousand dollars to the Mission through this program over the years.

Why does Allstate continue to support the Mission?

Allstate continues to support the Mission because the homeless community needs help, and to make an impact, this work is necessary and ongoing.
