Thank You!
“The Second Annual Music with a Mission event was wonderful! It was an incredible night of entertainment and awareness. We are so grateful to the Nashville community for their support. You are helping make a difference in the lives of those who are homeless and in need. Thank you!”
– Glenn Cranfield, President and CEO of the Nashville Rescue Mission
The Mission is incredibly grateful to Alan Valentine, President and CEO of the Nashville Symphony for so generously allowing this special event to take place in the beautiful Schermerhorn Symphony Center. A special thank you to Conductor, Jim Gray and the talented Nashville Symphony Orchestra for sharing their talents for the night’s event. Certainly, without the participation of the incredibly talented artists who participated, this evening would not have been possible. Thank you: Amy Grant, Ricky Skaggs, Tracy Lawrence, Branford Marsalis, Joey Calderazzo, Karyn Williams, Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers, Alison Brown, The Booth Brothers and last, but certainly not least—Restless Heart for hosting the evening. Also, with gratitude we thank Demetria Kalodimos and Bill Cody for serving as Master of Ceremonies for the night.
An immense amount of planning and work go into an event such as this requiring the time and talents of many people. The Mission would also like to thank our generous sponsors and those who donated items for the silent auction. With over 1200 people in attendance and gifts still coming in, this event was a huge success. Your gifts will allow the Mission to serve the homeless and hungry in our community.
